Share

Aktion ParksORLANDO, FL – Today, Aktion Parks, a subsidiary of Correct Craft, announced plans to build its third boat and cable park, Elite Cable Park (ECP), in partnership with the USA Water Ski Foundation (USA-WSF).

Elite Cable Park will be part of USA-WSF’s new headquarters and training center to be built at the city of Auburndale’s $25 million Lake Myrtle Sports Complex located at 905 Lake Myrtle Park Road, Auburndale, FL 33823.

Situated on Lake Myrtle, a beautiful 76-acre freshwater lake, ECP will be staffed with experienced coaches offering lessons in wakeboarding, wakesurfing and other watersports of all skill levels. Like Aktion’s other world famous parks (Orlando Watersports Complex and Miami Watersports Complex), ECP will provide Hyperlite equipment for all lessons and host events that feature the award-winning Nautique Boats.

USA-WSF’s Executive Director Tracy Mattes stated, "The Aktion Parks team has an outstanding reputation in the industry for delivering top service with integrity and we are excited to have them operating this park." Mattes added, "With more than 100,000 visitors coming through the park each year for multiple sports, including soccer, baseball and youth football, the water sports complex has a built-in audience and will provide opportunities to create synergies with other sporting and community events."

Bill Yeargin, CEO of Correct Craft (owner of Aktion Parks) stated, "We are thrilled to partner with USA-WSF to develop this outstanding new cable park. ECP will live up to its ‘Elite’ name and offer our customers exceptional experiences!"

Fully opening in 2018, ECP will be a world-class training facility as well as an international destination to experience watersports. In addition to ECP, USA-WSF’s new facility will include a new headquarters building, three tournament ski lakes, a café on the water, and a pro shop.
