The 22 VLX offers room and luxury seating for 14 in a beautiful traditional bow design with easy access to the lounge area. With its sleek proportions and agile handling, the 22 VLX is also a pleasure to drive.

The 22 VLX gives customers the choice to customize their boat for personal watersports priorities. Malibu has made the 22 VLX an even smarter choice by adding new amenities for 2017.

Malibu drew on its undisputed industry leadership in wake boarding and surfing, along with 30+ years of ski towboat expertise, to design two different hulls for the 22 VLX. Choosing the Wake Plus hull sets up the 22 VLX to create the absolute best wakes and waves. The available Integrated Surf Platform (ISP) includes the Power Wedge II hydrofoil to crank up the wake and the Surf Gate™ to turn the wake into a huge, endless surf wave. Customers who want to enjoy world-class slalom flats along with great surf wakes and waves can select the Diamond hull.

The 22 VLX driver can use the digital Command Center, with optional Sport Dash rotary dial, to tailor wakes and waves for any skill level. With Malibu’s Surf Band wrist remote, the rider can control the wave right from the surfboard, truly turning a body of water into a personal watersports playground.

Malibu is renowned for its exceptionally built towers, and the 2017 22 VLX shows why with the new G3.5 tower. This all-new design features stainless-steel construction, an easy-to-use folding tower latch, powerful lights and Wet Sounds speakers.

Malibu is also synonymous with craftsmanship and luxury, and new features for 2017 raise that standard in the 22 VLX. SeaDek material for the Soft Grip flooring, transom pads, and swimboard enhances comfort and function. A powerful new audio system by Wet Sounds features multi-zone volume control, a new transom remote, and onboard speakers that match the tower speaker design.

Improved LED lighting on the boat and the tower round out the enhancements for 2017. Customers can also choose from additional new gel and flake color choices to personalize their boats.
