Polar Rise is an annual System 2.0 wake event hosted by the legendary Darin Shapiro at his own private lake. With multiple categories and sponsor-fueled prizes, the tricks were flowing all day long.
Yonel Cohen dominated the pro division while Gavin Giglio and Brandon Harris took the Intermediate and Advanced divisions respectively. It may not be a surprise that Darin's son, Kien Shapiro, made the most of his home lake advantage to win the Beginner division.
Next to the cable there was a lot of room for different activities including bike riding on the trails, playing football, frisbee and going out on paddle boards. The day was ended by a bonfire and everyone had a good time.
