I was just wondering if it was worth paying $100 for a handle, does it really make that much difference from a cheap handle?

I was most wondering about the carbon handles though, those seem the most expensive do they give you more control?

It's a matter of preference. Buy what you like and what feels good in your hands. Not everyone has the wallet to throw $100 into a handle and $100 into a line.

You'll get a lot of replies on this. Suggestions as well. best advice: if you have a shop nearby, grab some handles and get a feel for them. And buy what you like. It's worth it in some people's eyes and not in others.

I think it is worth it if its more comfortable than the other ones.

I love my SL Bantam and for me, it was worth the money. I get a better grip with it and it pops out of my hands less often.

Alright thanks, because I've been using a real cheap handle from Walmart or something and I figured they were better but not better enough for me to drop a lot of money on.

If you are using a walmart handle, then I would suggest getting a new rope and handle thats made for wakeboarding, it will make a hudge difference over your walmart handle. I mean a hudge difference. To me a good rope and handle is just as important as a good board and bindings.

daniel- it probably makes a difference if you are throwing all kinds of tricks. if you're just starting out then it's not as big of a deal

Accurate has two really nice rope/handle combos that come in right around/below 100...not too shabby for a no stretch rope and an EVA handle.

Yeah I've been wakeboarding for over half a year, as I ride more I get more into it, so I do think I really need a handle yet but I know I will need a better rope and handle when I can do more tricks and more importantly have enough money to buy one.
