As in make the wake bigger?

... if so, you're not going to get a ton out of that boat. ... its a designed ski boat, its purpose is to make the wake as small as possible. Your best / only option is adding fat-sacs / ballast to the boat, but even then you probably won't see a huge improvement. Maybe 1,500 extra lbs of ballast (1000 rear and 500 front) would be a start.

yea, there are adjustments that can be made just don't know how. didn't know if anyone else on here has tried the same.

What you say adjustments, do you mean like a wakeplate?... if so a photo will help.... even with a wakeplate adding ballast will be the biggest help.

...just so I'm clear, we're both talking about this boat (give or take)

If so, I'm a little hesitant to believe its got a "hell of a wake" .... it was 100% designed to not have a "hell of a wake", literately designers tried to make this boat make as small a wake as possible..... if I'm wrong, kudos and enjoy!

are sumo sac ballasts better and/or more convenient than the fat sacs?

I would think you have to be pretty careful adding weight to a Gekko. The have extremely low (lowest of any inboard I know) freeboard in the rear. No way would I feel safe adding 1500 lbs to that boat. I'd add a 500 lb sac in the rear rear first and go from there.

I'm also confused about your term "adjustments"??? You are talking you want to make the wake bigger for wake boarding, correct?

Sumo sacs are just a another brand of ballast bag. No better no worse, Ford/ Chevy kind of thing.

yea why would you think I would start with 1500 lbs.?? im doing a 750 SUMO in the back seat with only the driver it would be perfect. and yes the adjustments would be for wake boarding but its a ski boat so I wont get what I need out of it without the sacs.

Nauti 2001 was designed as a ski boat too. Start with that 600 and add more as you need! Have fun!
