Hey guys,

I tried a raley this weekend off the kicker. I feel like when I try to extend my legs I'm all crooked and end up barely pulling my legs back under me so I end up hitting the water in the most awkward position which is very painful. I know you are supposed to take a large and late cut towards the kicker.

Large and late cut is good. You want to load the line to help lay yourself out, so generally when I do mine I'm crossing the kicker diagonally. Raleys are 1000% mental, it's all about committing to do the trick, so as you leave the kicker, let it flatten you out, looks straight up your line all the way to the cable to keep you stable, and flex your abs to pull it in. There is really no halfway when doing raleys.
