Alright fellas, help me out, I got about 33 to spend, so I am looking at a few boats, I know on the xstar and san I am gonna have to settle for 00 possibly 01, but on the bu and ssv I could possibly go 03. I want something that is gonna be very dependable, and makes a FAT wake. I would like a nice ballast system too. I have heard of some people having problems with the 01 xstars, so that kinda pushed me away from them, but I need yall opinions on everything. lay it on me...thanks

search the forum and then demo all the boats you are considering. These types of threads never get anywhere. All of those are great options, drive and ride behind each one and then make a decision.

03 Bu for 33k? Good luck. Supra and Bu are not the same price point.

Lyle,

I dont know where you live but I have a 2001 SSV Loaded with really low hours. I am only looking for about $29 for it. I am in SOCAL but will drive up to 300 miles to deliver. If you live anywhere close and would like to test drive/ride it let me know.

http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/8/245566.html?1125021380 This will throw a phat wake if you like a steep wake shape. It sounds like you don't know really what wake you like though because the BU and SSV differ from the SAN, X-Star, V210 wakes.

IMO there are only 2 choices: MC X2 or a SAN. 33 might be tough to do though. The best part of the MC is that if you go with a 205v you get the same killer hull and all you have to do is add weight if doesn't have the factory ballast. You could probably get a pretty late model 205v for that price.

Hobie. 205v = V-drive
205= direct drive
