Just ordered a full WS package including the EQ.
Looking for recommendations on where to mount it. Seems under dash is common, but not sure if the aluminum sheet under my dash will support it well.
I have a 2010 Air.

Anyone put it in the small compartment to the left of the steering wheel?

If under dash, is the bracket necessary? Concerned about leg room.

Thanks!!

No issues on a 2012 230

Another 230 with a more permanent install

You can mount it like Mike mentioned, or add the billet bracket that Wet Sounds just put out for a more finished look. I've done both and they both work well.

Thanks for the responses!

I like the clean look of the EQ mounted near the throttle.
It seems like that might be slightly more convenient to see and use the controls.
Mike, which mounting location did you prefer?
