Working on upgrading the stock tanks .... wondering if 750s are enough for a boat this big, or if I should go with 1100s and fill them as much as possible.

Any advice is appreciated, Thanks!

I'd probably start by getting some rough measurements of the compartments. Fly High 750s or Sumo 600s will rock for wakeboarding. For surfing you might want to added capacity of the Fly High 1100 or Sumo 900.

Ebay had a pretty good deal -

2x tankbuster kit from wakemakers for an 04' LSV + 2x 1100lb. Pro-X sacs and I got it for $425 shipped.... too good of a deal to pass up,

Hopefully the tankbuster install is as easy as it seems.

most of the guys in the VLX's (21 foot boats) are running 750's to get good surf wave, I'd run the 1100's. Racer808 who's here and on themalibucrew.com runs 1100's in his VLX.

edit: just saw that you already bought them! Good move/deal!

tankbuster kit on my v230 was pretty straightforward. you're going to be happy with those 1100s. Should include check valves. just make sure your route your fill lines high up so you don't get a gravity feed into the bags.

also make sure your drain lines are same size as fills. about to upgrade mine to 1 1/8" from 3/4" I think

Not sure how anybody is fitting anything more than 750's in the LSV. I have the same boat (2005) and the FH 750's fill up the entire trunk.

^ We'll see in a few days I guess... I'll snap some photos of them in and filled as much as possible
