I am looking at 2002 wakesetter. 325hp engine perfect pass, ballest. I would say mint condition. Is there any problems people have had? I guess I know nothing about this boat any advice would help. He is asking 25,900 is that to high or fair price. Thanks

Seems kinda high. But I suppose if there are maintenance records, one owner, excellent shape, good option, etc.

Malibu used some crappy towers back then (Pro Flight & Skylon). Check for fatigued welds, cracked fiberglass, etc.

Fantastic boat! I had the same boat for 2yrs loved it no problems at all. No matter what you buy you'll find one cheaper after the fact. Its a little high maybe but not that far off imo.If its in great shape, maint records and water test good id say go for it.

Let's say for sake of argument that if you search for another six months you could save $3k. Would you wait? Or would you have a summer full of 2010 memories....?

I have an 03, basically the same boat. I have owned it since new and have no problems and about 650 hrs. . No common problems that I have heard of either.. I have the Skylon swoop tower, and I would not classify it as crappy, but not as sturdy as some of the newer towers or the Titan that was avail. those years. you might notice some gel coat stress cracks around the tower mounts and are typically cosmetic only.

Overall its a great boat and has a very good wake. What I like most is the wake is not finicky like some other manu's boats from that era. To me that price seems right in there.
