My boat is in our dock and finding that water is leaching in from somewhere. I have checked the exhaust and plug and both are sealed. Thought on what else to look at? Do shaft seals tend to leak a bit?

Check the shaft and the water pump. If the water pump is going bad sometimes they will leak around the shaft that runs to the fly wheel.

Check the rudder and the drive shaft packing rope.
How much water are you leaking in?

Over night it was about 2ish inches in the rear. I'll check both. I found that the pump to fill the ballast leaks when I turn it on. Shafts seals where just done about 4 months ago.

Hey I checked the stuff and it all seems tight. One thing I notice, it only leaks in the same amount and then seems to stop? Confused on what else it could be.

Also the pump is auto but I have to switch the wires cause it's on auto but the red led light stays on and will drain the battery, from what I was told

My shaft seals are leaking on my boat... that could definitely be your source.
