Haven't you been reading the boards. You have to have a diesel to pull a wakeboard boat nowadays.

Im with david Apparently a gas V8 isnt good enough for the wakeworld snobs

It pulls the X1 with no problem....A stage 1 is a F-150 Lariet 5.4 V8 with a Roush Bodykit Package..Exhaust.. and Suspension. Stage 2 and 3 is where they bolt on a supercharger, heads etc.
If 25K is too much I am willing to hear some offers. Thanks for looking...

KBB says $15,240 for a Lariat in that mileage range. It didn't have a Roush configuration, but good luck finding someone that will pay $10k for factory suspension, exhaust, and body package.

Not trying to knock the truck as I was pretty disappointed to find out my '07 FX4 was worth less than $20k.

Sounds about right for a lariat...but a Roush is a special edition...limited production. So you dont see many of them around. For clarification it is a Roush not a Lariat...Same body style tho. Thanks for looking!!

You should've heard them crying when diesel was four bucks a gallon.

According to the Roush website the Stage 1 package in 2008 was a 7800. So asking 25K for a 5 year old truck that is fairly high. Would think you could sell it for between 18K-20K more realistically.

My guess is that your dealer screwed you out of more money by adding on a several grand with the dealer markup for them having a "special edition" truck.

Why are there soooo many haters on this site. Seriously, might be the wrong forum, but who cares. If you think its priced too high, keep it to yourself. Let the guy try and get what he can for it.

One mans' trash is another mans' treasure, which is exactly why a wakeboarder would value an old SAN higher than an average joe looking for a runabout.
