phase five surf board questions!

what are the differences when riding between the Danielo
Diamond and the Danielo pro model. Im trying to choose my first skim board. i ride behind a 2014 axis a24 with surf gate so a large wave and I'm about 195 200 lbs.

or recommendations to other fun boards. don't want to go custom as i am still growing i can ride the wave rope less with ease and do small airs i want to learn spins and work on bigger airs.

Never ridden the skims you mention but I do have a Phase 5 Trident and its AWESOME. I am about 6'1 and 210lbs and the thing rips!

The Danielo pro has a narrower tail and is more responsive rail to rail and pumps very quick.
the Danielo diamond has a wider tail so it is more stable (less responsive) rail to rail, but is also faster down the line because it has more surface area. You can also ride it more back foot heavy because of the wide tail, but on skimboards you will want to develop your riding so you ride more front foot heavy for better performance as you progress.

Both are elite comp level skimboards and can do every trick possible, but those are the differences.

I am looking at the diamond as well but not sure on size since I seem to be on the edge between the 51/54. I am 5.9 165 and currently ride a flyboy and a custom shredd Stixx behind a Z3. Any suggestions on size?

I have the middle size. On a Z3 wave. I"m 5"10 165lbs. board is fast

Jack, I'm your same size and I prefer the 51". The 54" will be faster, but I like the responsiveness from the smaller one.
But also, my current board is a 50" and I never like riding something bigger than it. It's perfect

Danielo diamond, on z3 wave. this is the middle size. I"m an average rider.
