Well I am still on the Hunt, we are flying down to Texas this week to look at a 2006 and a 2009

Most likely leaning towards the 2006 its sounds perfect, only 250 hrs on it for a fair price.

I will know for sure by Monday if she's coming home with me.

Here are some pics.

Good news on the winch jam Fogelson - you guys are doing this right.. Bands will be dope too..

Andy - that 06' is nice.. Jason has an 06' and it's a gorgeous boat.. Love riding that thing... You bringing the wife and kiddo down with you? We're living the little guy at home for Spring Ride.. Daddy turns 30 on the 11th so it will be party time for me that weekend.

Garvey - how many heads do you have in our place?

The Wadholms, Rourkes, Garvey and Bolstad are all I know of. Who else?

Andy... We've still got our '08 for sale if you're interested. It's still sub 300 hours and has one heck of a stereo set-up. Plus all the other usual goodies. PM me if you want to talk. Let me know what you're budget is and what they're asking for the boats you're looking at.

Have fun at Spring Ride guys.... Hopefully yours goes off the same way ours did.

Hey MN people, just wanted to let you know that we're having a MN Spring Ride this year, June 10-11.

To make room reservations call: (218) 426-5040, and tell them that you're with the wakeboard event.

Details
Where: Big Sandy Lodge and Resort in McGregor (just 2 hrs North of the Metro), on Big Sandy Lake
When: June 10-11
What's going on:
*Double up contests w/ $3k already confirmed in prize money, along with some cases of Red Bull (we're working on sweetening the pot even more). This will be divided into Biggest Trick and Best Trick
*Free riding...just line up boats and take turns taking sets in the bay.
*Music
*Door Prizes
*Meet and greet with fellow riders

We've got permission to enforce a No Wake Zone and the bay is pretty protected, so the water should be good. Below is a map which illustrates how I see this thing laying out.

There a few lodging options:
*Townhome Units, each can hold approx 15-18 people. These are $300/night for up to 8 people. There is an additional charge for each person over #8.

*Cabins, each can hold approx 15-18 people. These are $300/night for up to 8 people. There is an additional charge for each person over #8.
http://www.bigsandylodgeandresort.co...te-cabins.html

*Lodge (hotel rooms), These are your typical sized hotel rooms, with standard bed size options. Price ranges from $62-$107/night depending on what kind of beds you get.

Good luck!

No problem Jarrod. Thanks for the guidance on this! We have a sold out resort, a good number of sponsors, and decent pile of cash...about $3600 ($3000 for double up contests, and then another $600 for some contests on Friday). I can't wait to see the video of this years CIE Spring Ride.

As of now I think it's pretty much just local guys hitting the dubs.
*Colin Ryan
*Jade Whirley
*Chase Mastel
*John Tietz
*Eric Anderson (although, unfortunately, he hurt his knee last night so not sure if he'll be able to ride)
*Micah McGinnity
*Might be a few guys from the U of M wakeboard team.
*Brad Gearhardt might be up here as well.

LOL, I might even get out there and try to claim best crash There may be a few others that I just can't think of right now.

When is everyone heading up? I'm leaving early Friday morning, Burton and I are caravaning it up, it would be cool to have a few more rigs in our line up if anyone wants to join us. Plus I won't get lost then ha.

I have room to bring a couple people up too if anyone needs a ride.
Old     (garveyj)      Join Date: Sep 2009       05-31-2011, 10:30 AM Reply
Ditto on Early Friday - I need to confirm but I think I am heading up with Burton...Otherwise I can caravan up with you. I have been to that lake a few times so I know the way pretty well.

Terry is Bryce riding up with you? Are you pulling his Malibu?

Count me in.
How do you register for the comp and rail jam again Jay?

I can head up Thursday night or Friday morning.Right now it's just me myself and I so if someone want to ride with me or has room for me that would be great.

Robbie is already in our townhouse.

Not sure if Bryce is riding up with us or not - we are still throwing around the plans. I don't know if he was going to bring his Bu up though...He was kicking the idea around...not sure if he decided or not.

I think I should be good to roll out about 9/930, any ideas on where we should meet up?
Old     (andy_nintzel)      Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Minnesnowda       05-31-2011, 3:08 PM Reply
I will be up there most likely around 11am Friday. I have been doing work on Google Earth looking at some winch spots. I am going to bring my winch so if any one is down to winch I know a few of us are going to hit some spots.
Old     (garveyj)      Join Date: Sep 2009       06-01-2011, 6:09 AM Reply
Jason - we should meet at your place and take 169 up - it is the easiest route that I know of.

Andy - I know of a place up there too on the river where there is a rope swing that we could set the winch up. Don't know if we can find anything to do a rail slide with though.

Jason and Tom - I am pulling Bryce's rig up too so we can all just caravan up together

The Wadholms and Rourkes are leaving late afternoon.. We'll be up around 7/8 depending on traffic.

Meeting at my house should work for me, ha. We can meet anyone else along 169 if thats the best route.

Hwy 169 is one option, the other one is Hwy 65....it's a straight shot all the way up.

I'm in for early Saturday (early, early)... I have a BBQ at like 1pm so I'll have to dip by 11 when the tubers roll up..

I'm close to you so I can get there anytime in the AM.

Will - I am up for Saturday - I can do Friday afternoon after 4 or so too.

Andy - I would love to hit up some winching - never done it before so it should be fun to try.

Jay - has Hwy 65 been redone? The last time I took it it was pretty rough - wouldn't want to tow a boat up it the whole way.
