My Buddy Is A Total Dumb@$$

OK so last Thursday (sorry I've been out of town) this dude I work with took his buddy's Baja out for a test run (1st run of the season for him) and this thing is freaking huge it's a 32 foot twin engine beast anyway they backed it down the ramp the boat owner got out unhooked the boat, jumped in, and started backing it off the trailer so then my buddy jumps out of the driver seat (for some reason) and leaves it in reverse so the dude in the boat yells at him he jumps back in slams the door and for whatever reason stomps on the gas and runs the truck and trailer out into the water the truck floats out 80 feet he climbs into the bed of the truck the dude in the boat swings by picks him up and before they can get back to the dock the truck sinks to the bottom so they have to call out a tow truck and the dive team to get the damn thing out it was 20 feet under water and took 100 feet of cable I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life

the pics will be coming soon the news paper crew were all out there for some bass tournament and ran over to see what was going on and started snapping pictures

the boat owner is having work done on his truck so he had this guy (My dumbass buddy) tow his boat out to the lake for him The boat owner isn't out anything at all

I started to get out of my truck once after backing my old nautique down the trailer while still in reverse. Luckily I was only half way out and slammed on the brakes.

The authorities probably saw it as an opportunity to blow the dust off their diving gear. When I saw this happening at Saguaro, AZ, there was a few divers that went down to investigate.

That's so damn funny and sad! They probably wanted to use a dive team because they were down there for extended period of times hooking stuff up.

The truck was an 06 Sierra Denali that thing was a Bad Ass truck now its just a big stinky paper weight

The funniest thing is that this happens all the time. I personally have seen two similar incidents. One where a guy sank his truck and another where a hillbilly tried pulling a boat full of water out and it promptly snapped his trailer in two. I guess if you're waiting in line to launch it's not too funny but otherwise it's pretty hilarious.
