Excellence..

Old scandanavian guy.. He built the house they live in in 1946.. He's 94 and still mows his yard, seal coats his driveway and snowblows.. We've had something like 85" of snow in Minneapolis and this dude has been out there EVERY time it snows moving the snow around..

Something to strive for

That's great. My mom is 88 and we visited her for Thanksgiving. It was cold out and she's like... let go wash your truck (it was dirty). I pretty much had no choice as she was whipping out the hose, soap, and buckets.

As cool as that is, may I suggest doing it for him.. or at least helping?

Tried that.. No go.. He said as soon as he quit's doing, he'll start dying... Who am I to argue? I help him when we get HUGE amounts of snow but typically he loves doing it..

Shoot he is 20 years older than my mom would be and she died 10 years ago from smoking.

Awesome.

My Grandpa is 82 and just bought a new tractor to make it a little easier to take care of his 500 acre farm where he runs 75 cows.

He puts in a full day of work almost every day.

I just hope I can do what he does now when I am 60.
