I've used something like this a few times. Worked fine for me. And if it didn't they have an easy return policy in the first 30 days.

I'd keep one in the boat/truck ...I suggest the ACME weekend saver combo!!!

BTW, those HF pullers work in a pinch.... which it sounded to me like you might have been in. But getting a good OJ style puller is a good idea too. Especially if you are ever doing this in the water, or on a lift.

A prop knocker is an interesting option too.

And remember to get a wrench. Or better yet, a "vacation saver"
