One terminal should be a ground. ( if lighted switch )

Then you have 2 travelers and 1 feed or load.

How would you wire it for a reversible pump ? and yes they're lighted

I bought those switches and found they are the wrong ones, they are for acc. switches the ballast switches have seven terminals on the back to fill and empty. check with your MC dealer.

That's kinda what I was thinkin' but I'm gonna wire one up outside of the boat and test it to see if it will work

That's a single pole double throw (SPDT) switch with illumination. It will work with relays as you have shown in your diagram.

If you want to avoid the relays you will need a double pose single throw (DPDT) switch rated for at least 20A.

Obviously you are using impeller pumps right?

Yea they're reversible simer pumps . . . The switches are 20a and the relays are 30a that should be OK shouldn't it ?

Hah, I drew & posted that schematic and posted it in about 2001. Dane modified it to get rid of my unnecessary diode and reposted it, and I've seen it a hundred times since. Cool.

It works for reversible pumps, and is a lot better because it keeps the high amp wires short and out of the dashboard. Just add up the amperage of the pumps that are on each set of relays. They draw about 12A each.

Yea dude that's awesome I'm so glad I found that I was about to take the switches back and order the DPDT switches until I found your schematic :-)
