I thought I remembered a thread about this years ago but was unable to find it. I'm looking for some sort of lock to keep my trailer from disappearing. I've searched Amazon and Overtons but most of the trailer locks seem to get pretty bad reviews or don't work. Is there anything that can withstand a couple hammer blows or a saw? What do you guys do?

I swing the tongue over and put a bike U lock in the peg hole.

2nd that great idea John. Some of those U locks are a bear for somebody to try to get off.

I have the ball lock that goes in to the ball and then I use a locking pin in addition.

If I am really worried, I have a piece of chain that goes through the rims and around the frame rail of the trailer.

I have a little padlock that goes through the hitch. At the back I have a ramset epoxied into the concrete and a diamond chain and heavy duty padlock that loops through the back of the trailer frame. The only way to get it off would be with an angle grinder. If you really wanted it you could still take it but it would take time and with the alarm going off I think most people would think twice unless very well organised.
