Straw Hat Disco Bay

Hey Disco and Delta locals. Just a heads up. My friend just bought the Straw Hat pizza in Discovery bay and they are having a grand re-opening party this Saturday, 3/6. They have been doing a lot of work there. More tvs, added more draft beer to the selection and I think they are hooking up some sort of game system(ps3, xbox?) So come on out for the party on Saturday or just keep in mind when you do make it out this way to check them out.

Your friend bought it?? Wow, never even heard that it was for sale. Usually news like that gets around fast. I wish him good luck. Straw Hat has always been kind of in the shadows. Even when they were the only Pizza in town, it seemed as though they kinda struggled.

Yea Im not too sure on how the acquisition went down. Its actually my friends dad that bought the place. There was a great turnout Saturday night. Im sure that he will do great seeing as he has been in the community for quite a while. Really knows what the people here like. Right now they are doing american idol night on tues nights. Large pizzas for $9.99.
