Curious on your take on the velcro bindings. Has any one tried these and how do you feel about them?

It holds up...I am still wearing last years pair that I got in March 08. Only problem is the white stuff on the outside is peeling but that doesnt affect the ride

Just got the LTD last week and was able to ride them a few times over the weekend. Super comfy, lightweight and the velcro seems pretty bomber. Definitely digging them. I was basically just tired of using laces with buckles that don't hold so I figured they were worth a try. So far, so good. Just hoping that the velcro holds up.

Two sets of Vantages in our crew that were ridden all season last year, a few times a week. The convenience of the velcro is great, but they are also way comfortable. No signs of problems with the velcro and I plan to have my feet in them all season this year too. Highly recommended!

I just wish LF would give some real support regarding the heat-mold liner. Not that they need to be any more comfortable, just lame marketing with regards to that feature.

Have a pair and they're great! The velcro has held up well. More importantly the Velcro allows me to custom fit the bindings more than any other I've used to date. I have feet with wide toes and narrow heels so the standard fit bindings have always given me grief. With the Velcro I can sinch the ankles down super tight, the mids down pretty tight, and the toes I can just snug.

The liner is not supposed to be a heat molded liner. It's supposed to mold to your feet with regular use.

Yeah Scott, I see that they have corrected their marketing materials for 2009. The 2008 Vantages were clearly advertised as having the Liquid Liner and discussed it as being heat moldable. Here is the WW link, LF propaganda matched last year.

Anyway, like I said...just lame marketing and I'm glad they tell the straight story now.

They are the best bindings I have ever owned. Comfortable, easy on and off, they stay locked down when I am riding (unlike many laced bindings I have owned) and did I mention they are comfortable?

Clinton, you can crank down so hard on those bindings and make as tight or loose as you want and like Dean said (^) they dont ever loosen up when your riding!

^^^^Agree with all above! Easy on/off, firm support, but MEGA comfortable. Definitely get the LTD (Black) I've heard a lot about the white ones flaking off paint.

Make sure you try them on first. I found them to be very flexible but no where near the comfort of my Watson's. Could be my feet but they just didn't feel right.
