Anyone ever see the wrap handle break clean off? I was teaching a friend this year how to wakeboard but he was fighting the boat with his back creating too much drag and the smaller handle sheered right off. The rope is still intact, there's just a weird two pieced section without a handle now.
Not near as gnarly as that damage though!

Hurricane Kong strikes again! That's the result of a tantrum to revert gone bad. It looked like he landed it and then it felt like the boat tower was breaking off as the rope snapped in 2 places and the handle embedded itself into the board! BG was fine, he didn't even realize what happened until he took off his board and saw the damage of a hurricane!

A friend of mine has done that before, he popped the handle on a back roll and it somehow dropped over the nose of the board. When he hit the water the board ripped off his feet and hydroplaned straight to the bottom. Scared the crap out of everyone on the boat.

WOW! I would have figured the tower would have came off the boat before the rope snapped or atleast ripped the Tow ball off the tower.

Ive seen this happen to a board before, cut a perfect line down and across, board got caught with the handle and created a underwater foil and pulled it straight down and then went sky high, i need to get a pic of it. At least you can just use one arm to carry your board and handle as it has a nice notch for it now.

it honestly felt like he ripped the tower off of gary's boat, i thought he actually pulled the tower off the mounts. haha. it was pretty intense. poor scotty everytime him and brando ride together chit hits the fan and somethin of scott's gets destroyed by Brando. HAHAHHA
