old wakeboard/wakesurf

i have an old waketech wakeboard that looks somewhat like a surf board just wondering if anyone has used some of the old wakeboards to wakesurf?

I've surfed on my old board - the original hyper-lite. It was a really slow board and I don't recommend it, but you can do it.

Most likely, you won't be able to stay in the wave without a rope on one of those. It would be cool to see the attempt though.
