Personal choice buddy, the S4 is a great shape for a regular "stiff" board. The Shane Hybrid personally would be my pick of those 2 since it has the wood core, is semi flex, and since it has the same construction as the watson hybrid it should be a really tough long lasting board as well.

im riding the Shane hybrid right now. so much lighter than my last board.. which was the 2011 Marius. its has so much pop, and i can get dirty on the rails without it getting trashed. probably the best board i've ridden yet. if you want something for boat only... get the S4 but if you ride wake, cable, and rails... get a hybrid, whether it be Shane or Watson.
