I'm on the Chico State Wake Team and we just purchased an F 21 tomcat! we are stoked are are trying to find the best way to weight this machine so it will throw the best wake! any ideas??? I was thinking 2 500's on each side of the engine, a 750-1000 bag in the front plus stock ballast!

Since everyone posts that these boats like 400 in the nose plus stock maybe you'll want to go with that and another 400 in the walkway

never had anyone complain with full stock ballast and a 400-500 in the center walkway.

And with only 500 over stock it will save gas and be easier to drive at the Pond!!!!
Should be harder to bury the nose on the turns.

I'm going to jump in and +1 for stock, plus 400-500 in the walkway

I know dftrjosh has said 400 in the bow, biased to port side to counteract prop rotation bias to starboard.

(no personal experience, just repeating what I've read)

stock plus 3-400 in the bow should get you where you need to be, enjoy the MB Chico State wake team!

Another agreement for 400-500 in the bow + stock. Anymore than that and it doesn't plane out fast and the wake actually feels worse. Depending on how many people are in the boat, we've even dumped SOME of the stock weight out without losing any size on the wake. If anything, it cleaned up and was much better. Wakw plate should be about 100% once up to speed.
