i'm in a pick em league where first places is over 100k. I went in with another guy who picked the Rams over Seattle this week... seems risky to me. So far this has been a fun season, it's been nice seeing some teams that have been historically good get put down a little (Seahawks, Patriots, Cowboys with 2 losses already).
Anyone else read the ESPN power rankings and wonder what they are smoking?

Yeah, Chiefs #1?!?!? What are they smoking?
Ian, I'll have to remind you, just like I remind Robert, that winning the regular season means nothing. I'd rather go 8-8 and sneak into the playoffs and win one playoff game than go 16-0 and lose in the first playoff game. Winning in the post season is all that matters.
Pats win last night but still look a bit off. Probably because Gronk was out.
Week 5 winners:
Bills
Jets
Lions
49ers
Titans
Chargers
Eagles
Steelers
Raiders
Hawks

Lots of ugly games out there. Yikes!

And all is right again with the NFL world. Hawks are 1st in the NFC West again, their defense locked down the "#1 offense" and dominated again. Oh and the Cowboys are back to their losing ways.
Ian, ok the Chiefs are for real. Caught some of that game last night, they rolled the Texans.

Looks like you won the picks Darren.Still too early to crown the Hawks but the Chiefs do look like the cream of the crop in their division. I'm not crowning the Eagles yet either. But I do think the Giants are done for this year with OBJ done for the year.

Oh I guess I meant he's the new Wilson. One and done in Superbowls for their careers. You know , how many multiple Superbowl winning QB's in your teams history. We have 2. The Packers have Bart Starr with 2 and the Seahawks ....... well ? I can't remember one? How about you Darren?

If you are comparing Wilson to Rogers, I'll take it. Thanks Bobby!
Now if you are really going down the annals of history then you'll have to go way, way, way, back to find a superbowl winning QB from Dallas. Keep living in the past Robert, as a Cowboys fan, it's probably better that way. You don't want to see the present & future.

Almost halfway through the season.Buffalo is tied with NE up to tonight.KC owns the west while Denver is imploding. Pittsburgh is the class of the North. The Titans and the Jaguars are leading in the South. As far as the NFC Philadelphia is the beast of the East. The Vikings control the North but the competition is close. The Saints control the South and the Rams control the West. Darren is leading the picks but I won this week.

Another week another Hawks dominate victory. Defense was lights out again, Offense showed up in the 2nd half again.
Cards lose Palmer and are done for the season. Rams look good but Hawks already beat that team in LA so I'm not too worried.
Luckily for the Chiefs the Broncos fall again.

We saw quite a few fans with Romo jerseys on. You should fit right In. If you're talking about when they play the Eagles , you may want to have a spare Wentz jersey on underneath your Romo jersey. That way your a winner, winner Chicken dinner!

of course not Darren
the point is that there wasn't even enough there for local law enforcement to pursue him, yet Suh's behavior is well documented. Doesn't choking someone, stomping on heads...etc....violate the NFL conduct policy?

You cannot win a championship with Alex Smith as your starting quarterback unless you have just a lights out defense. I love my Chiefs but i'm seeing a first round playoff exit (again) for KC.

Well glad I was on vacation this week to avoid this. Hawks looked terrible again on offense and couldn't believe they have up a TD in the final minute. Rough loss but still not worried. Huge game tonight. I'll be taking the Hawks to win.
I think the NFC West is going to come down to the final meeting of the Rams/Hawks. Just glad it's in Seattle.

LOLOLOL!! AP had 37 yards on 20+ carries. Hope you caught a glimpse of Kam stoning him for a safety last night. I think Kam made AP and Fitz both want to retire.
RW does it again, breaking the hearts of all the Hawk Haters out there.
Losing Sherm will be tough but I like our depth at corner and with Earl & Kam back healthy we will be just fine.
Sorry everyone but this Hawks team isn't going anywhere.

It was like a MASH unit on the Seahawks sideline. RW knocked silly. Ref told him to get checked so he was so delirious he checked himself in the tent and proclaimed himself ready for action. Too bad the NFL didn't agree. That will cost him 150k.Sherman done for the season. Earl Thomas in street clothes. Duane Brown goes down too. Against a journeyman QB who had recievers wide open all night the Leigon of room was living up to their name. The Seahawks Fans are the only ones who think the light at the end of the tunnel isn't the "End of the Line Train".

Looks like Falcons are superior Birds to Seahawks. Another year slipping away. Start thinking of your excuses. We know you have a grocery bag full. Don't you love Pete Carroll? He finds a way to make his team lose when it matters most. Superbowl pass instead of a run. Fake FG in the first half.........Stupid really Stupid Then he signs Blair Walsh the guy that gifted him a Superbowl appearance. Guess what Pete? Blair still sucks.

As for Blair how did he "gift" him a SB appearance? You might want to get your post season history right but then again, as a Cowboys fan the post season is pretty forgettable for you.
Hawks let one slip away but we are still in the driver's seat for the NFC West. Gonna come down to the Rams at home in a few weeks.
BTW anyone know which QB leads the league in yards this year? And is second in TDs? I'll give you a hint it ain't Dak

Walsh gifted the Seahawks a 10-9 win in 2015. I forgot the Seahawks choked that year too. Then Pete Carroll is stupid enough to rely on a choker.

^^Pete Carroll and Jason Garrett both became head coaches in 2010.
One has a SB ring and been to 15 playoff games with 9 WINS.
The other has ONE playoff win and only 3 playoff games on his resume.
I'll let you guess which is which.
Also, still no comments on Dak or Zeke, huh. Just bringing up Seahawks wins from 2015. I knew you loved the Hawks
