I'd like to know how to get in touch with riders from other schools. I'm the President of the Wakeboard team at Kansas University and it'd be sweet to hook up with and ride with kids from other schools. If you think so too, post some contact information in here!

It's a club and unfortunately they don't have their $#!T together enough to score sponsors. You ASU fellas got it right, my group is too drunk to realize that if you apply yourself you can get the hookup.

Stephen, tell that to the folks at my school, CSUN. SLO does have a waterski/wake team though. You should enter the slalom competition

I go to CU at Boulder. I'd love to hook up with some people and ride. I've brought all my gear out in case I ran into some riders, but as of right now, I havn't. As far as I know, I'm pretty sure there isn't a wakeboard/ski team or club, which sucks. I've tried looking for some other CU riders last year, but have come up short. It's kinda depressing going from riding the Sac delta to seeing every lake frozen here in CO.

Vice-Prez of the wakeboarding club out at Texas A&M - Corpus Christi here. We just got started but we really need to do some organizing and re-organizing. Nobody has taken it too seriously and it's frustrating. If anyone has got any pointers or advice on how to get it together when you are just starting out I would greatly appreciate it. And we only have one member in the club with a (running) boat. We are all newbs at this whole club thing.

Stephen Kallenberg

P.S. we have plenty of riders to make it legitimate

I run the wakeboard club at Rollins College. It'd awesome to see how things have progressed with collegiate teams lately! Also, I'm in charge of the collegiate committee within the AWA, so if any of you are interested in hosting any tournaments or have any competition ideas, please e-mail them to me and we can help you get them off the ground!!

University of Wisconsin- Whitewater has a team... Tim Keepers rode with us until he moved to Orlando.

We have a wakeboard tournament in the spring during one of the last weekends of April. It is an open tournament, but we also have a collegiate team trophy as well. Anyone that is interested can enter. We hold it on the Rock River in Janesville (southern Wisco). Afterwards we throw a party back in Whitewater in good ol' collegiate tournament tradition.

Email me and I can relay some more info for you or your team about the tourney. The more the merrier.
