I'm going on a house boat trip with a buddy and our two families to lake trinity and our third (guy who will get up early with us) can't make it.

The wives will be thirds but not first thing in the morning. Has anyone ever bumped into the rangers out there?

What's the fine for wakeboarding without a third?

If I hand my 2 year old the flag will I be able to tell a ranger that I didn't know any better (of course he'll be sleeping)? ;) (I know the answer to this one)

-Thanks.

I believe the ranger spends quite a bit of time on the lake.. Havent seen her out really early though, mostly in the afternoons.. Maybe some of the locals will chime in.

There is one sheriff. She's really, really nice and will probably patrol all weekend. 8 to 5, I'd guess. She's pretty easygoing, although she might by more strict for a holiday weekend. Might be a risk that you'd be willing to take though... The water can be pretty nice in the mornings.

Are you happy now, Coop?

You would probably get away with it but you never know after Labor Day you hardly ever she her.
She is really nice I got caught wakeboarding in a 5 MPH zone once and all we could say that we were sorry that is was so windy every were else and she laughed and said she can't control the wind and to go riding some were else the fishermen had called her. Another time she saw are flag was ripped and gave us a new one. Just be nice to her.
