It's that time of year again, when Santa and his Elf's dawn their wake gear and roll along the I90 and 520 bridges spreading Christmas joy.

This year we have two Santa boats, Jeff's VLX and Dave's 211. We will be rolling out from Gene Coulan Park 9am Christmas eve morning. We'll be done around noon and return to the dock for lunch at Ivar's. All who wish to participate are invited.

I need to get a head count so who's in?

Cliff, I'm planning to make it this year if the weather permits. Maybe I can drag Brad or Jason along.

Brad will be in Montana but Jason has no excuse.

What? How'd I get nominated to bring a boat?

Tell you what....... I'll provide the boat if Hahn actually gets into one of them this year (you don't have to ride but you have to go). LOL!

I might try and make it out if someone has some extra room. Darren?

I was going to say that if I didn't have to work I would be down but we all know I am way too much of a big fat sissy to get in the water right now.
Old     (dlamont)      Join Date: Apr 2003       12-03-2008, 5:08 PM Reply
I was thinking of taking out the X35. Brett I got room.
Unless you guys want to ride behind something else?

Darren,

It would be great if you brought out one of those big boats.

Robert,

Your in sucka. You don't have to ride but you do have to wear the outfit and drink the energy drinks.

Dave,

I nominated your boat, hah!

Brett,

Ya gotta go now that you have a drysuit. It would be fun if you could get Brett V., Eddie, and some of the guys to go as well.

Greg,

You know you and Jason will be taken care of.

I also got a call from Gary C. tonight. He's in this year and bringing his boat if needed.

I do actually have to work so I will be drinking energy drinks and wearing my pepsi hat at the book store. I will be thinking of how crazy you guys are though.

If there is room in Jeff's boat or Darren brings out the MC, I am in.

Darren - Does Santa or an Elf surf behind the MC?

I'm down for sure! There's a slalom course along I90 right? Ken Burnard and I are going to have a wakeboard slalom battle.

Nick,

All are invited.

Laci,

You had to bring up surfing didn't ya.

#3,

Ken is one of the originals, he should be coming every year.

I'm sure the Sky Skiers will have a boat out this year as well.

Joe,

We put you in a South Park Kenny outfit and you'll be fine. It would be fun to film this little gathering and you have skills to do it.

The boat is weighted and ready. 2000lb plus 4 people will make a great wake. If you like that sort of thing............

Jason, Daren P hint, hint, hint

Shred might have the upper hand with his custom narrowed down HO/Hype XP but it better be a sunny day for his sake because I don't think he can rip as hard without his RayBans and croakies on.

Darren, I can help you drop the boat if ya need me to. I hope everything's going well at the new spot!

As fun as riding with you guys again sounds, the thought of leaving home on Christmas Eve to drive for 4+ hours and then turn around and head home so I can be with my family for Christmas, just doesn't appeal to me

Im sure you guys will have a blast as usual and I intend on getting over there to enjoy some of your early season butter on Sammammish in a couple of months!

Thanks for the envite and rip it up. I look forward to seeing the video/pics!

Merry Christmas

Lewis and I are in.

Dave - 2000lbs sounds like a good starting point, but you know I don't like to make any commitments. 'Cause Shaniqua's got a big ol' wake ... so I'm leaving you.
Old     (noti_dad)      Join Date: Jul 2003       12-10-2008, 11:49 AM Reply
You suck. I'll remember that B. Donk. I'm sure I can find some "pussies" that will want to ride behind my tight, skinny wake. Shaniqua has nothing on my girl.

I'd love to go but there's now way my wife is going to let me get away with it.

Keep your spirits up and we'll see ya in a couple months.

If it's not raining/snowing I will be bringing either a Xstar/X15/X35. Any preferences?
Old     (polarbill)      Join Date: Jun 2003       12-17-2008, 3:18 PM Reply
Darren, one of each should be fine. I vote 35 since not many people have ridden it.

However if it IS snowing, we should hit up some snow partol!

D-Lam, let's float a 35 if Lake WA isn't frozen over by then. Aren't you glad that that all of your boats will get ordered with heaters now?

Stepper,

Let me know and I'll make sure we bring it.

Darren,

Let's see that 35.

Craig,

You wouldn't need your boat, but your more than welcome to bring it.

#3,

Love to see someone slide the snow on shore and then back to the water. Hmmmmm... I might even give it a shot with the Roam.

It's not looking good for tomorrow. I'll have to let everyone know first thing in the morning but with a 90% chance of snow our Santa run is growing dimmer. I'll post up tomorrow at 7am to finalize.

Bum deal dudes, probably not the best idea to launch a boat on a ramp with nearly a foot of snow on it.

However, I did get to snowboard down all the hills that were too gnarly to skate down the other night!

Cliff, count me in for a New Year Run. Despite the weather, this thread has got me itching for some water time!
