I guess they have decided to pull that scene off the show. C'mon I thought this was reality TV, lol. I was watching the Today show the other day and apparently the Italian community is up in arms about how douchey these kids are being and how it paints Italians in genral. They are calling themselves Guidos and Guidettes.

Im suprised MTV came up with that show. IMO it depicts these kid's as what and who they are NOT as Italians in genral. Yes these kid's fall into some stereotypes people already have about Italians but what the hell "Foo-get-about-it"
IMO the part of stereotypes that makes them funny is the part where they are true.
Where was the Italian community up in arms when they were making the Godfather movies? I guess its ok to show them as ruthless killers but not spikey hair doushe's

The worst part is is that these people are not fictional, and MTV did not even have to go through crazy casting calls to find the most messed up/instable people like they do for the real world. These are just your run of the mill guido d-bags. The people on the west coast should be thankful for surfer and skater brahs every day because these people are infinitely worse.
EDIT- not saying that skater/surfer brahs are bad people, but people sometimes think of them as tools.

I think it's histarical that the Italian community is upset. A lot of the things they do are pretty normal thing for Guido's, there just happens to be cameras.
My roommate and I watch this a lot. They are just total douchebags.... it's too funny.

suspesion from teh new york scholl system means paid leave to go to a "bad teacher" facility for 6 months. Basically you lay aroudn and watch TV....I saw a show on discovery about this. Teachers are very hard to fire up there.

Jersey falls into two categories....
NE Jersey and SW Jersey are holes for the most part (Near NY and Philly).
NW Jersey and SE Jersey are for the most part beautiful.
Thing is most people associate Jersey with Newark, Camden blah blah blah.

They lived Mickleton, NJ.. in Gloucester county. It was a beautiful area, actually. Other members of his family lived near the Pine Barrens. Aside from the threat of the Jersey Devil, it was lovely!  I did get stuck in Camden once and next to West Philly, it was the scariest place I've ever been to! Yikes. (Message edited by lizzyb on December 16, 2009)

While we're bashing Jersey... I hate it, it's a miserable and oppressive liberal hell-hole. Highest taxes, most oppressive laws and nearly the trampling of our Constitution as Cali.
As for reality shows... If you want reality come film a day in my life. Real life is mundane and boring for the most part, with sprinkles of disappointment and occasional moments of joy.

I finally watched the episode last night. I thought that this girl was going to be in the wrong. It seems like those guys were just looking for trouble. What got me was when they were cuffing him he said he was just pushing her face away.
