I don't know which of you guys were talking about this a while ago but this stuff is awesome!

Just got off the phone and am picking up a 1/6th barrel for the bar tomorrow. $130 a sixth hurts but I will drink away the pain.

Great reco! If you have not had it, give it a shot, it's a great IPA.

Racre5 is good. My favorite is Alesmith IPA. Try some if you see it.

Florida has no decent micro supply. I am sipping SN Pale Ales and lucky to get them. I'm a transplant from Cali and just last year went back to SD for a convention.

Ahhhh sitting at Sunset bar and grill, sucking down good beer and wahoo tacos. Right on the beach. And waves, almost forgot what real surf looks like. I wish I could afford to live there again.

sigh.....

I tried some Racer5 when I was Snowboarding in Truckee over Christmas just because I remembered people on the WW message board talkng about it. Good stuff! Stone IPA is usually my favorite, but Racer 5 was definitely comparable. I love Sierra Nevada Pale and Celebration Ales and have recently been digging their Torpedo IPA....Nothing like a good Hoppy Beer to get the evening started IMO!

Manzo, you're on the east coast, right? So are you just shipping it? Or is this from a speakeasy deal?

The Racer #5 is good stuff. If you are ever up in Seattle try to find Big Time's Scarlet Fire IPA.

My son was home from college in Colorado for Christmas, and turned me on to Blue Paddle from New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, the makers of Fat Tire.
Really Good stuff! I like it better than the Fat Tire.
Never tried the Racer 5, sounds like I might need to make a trip North!

I will look for the Scarlet Fire around here. Used to get to Seattle once a year or so to see friends but it has been a long time. Bumbershoot was a blast.

Never had the Blue Paddle but I LOVE the New Belgium Skinny Dip and Hoptober...

I've really picked up on drinking IPAs a lot more in the past year. I haven't tried Racer 5 but will add that to my next order.

I also like Stone and recently bought a bunch of their Stone Brewing Cali-Belgique IPA, which is good. I also recently bought and liked Drake's India Pale Ale.

And on a side note, one of my most favorite beers I just discovered is Cable Car Amber. If you like Ambers, pick some up next time you go to Bevmo. You'll like it. My previous favorite was Anderson Valley Boont Amber Ale.

My mountain biking group are devout Racer 5 drinkers. We go out every Wednesday night for a night ride then go back to my buddy's house and put down 2-3 Racer 5's, we're going through a keg about every 2-3 weeks. We even have poster boys on their web page.

Rich Norgrove is a very good friend of mine, plus the Brewery is right next to my office (Bummer). Ryan the main bartender there is family so that works pretty good. Ever been to the pub before?

I love Racer 5. Just had two last night. Yummm. Just watch out. Too many and you'll be falling on the floor in a hurry. Strong stuff. Ha, ha, ha. Love it.

Mike... I'll see what I can do with the bar this year. Bass Lake is much more receptive than Tulloch was. I'll talk to them.

If they won't have it in the bar, it could always go somewhere else...right?

I was in World Market the other day, they had Racer #5 and a pretty good selection of other beers. I was actually pretty impressed with their selection. It used to be most of their beers sucked. For STL being known for beer, the selection around here sucks. You can get pretty fresh Bud Light though...
