The Broadcast is longer, has deeper fins and sharper edges.
This means that the board will be less manuverable, harder and harder to spin.
It is an easier board to learn on though.

The Skimskate is blunt tiped and has shallower fins. It is easier to get more agressive with it and a TON easier to spin on. (even if you shave the fins on the Broadcast)

That is what I mean by "if you want to get better"
