I'm just curious if it is possible to have a wake tower on a jet ski. I know it would look kinda funny, but can it happen. and would it have a different effect

If you did the jet ski would flip backwards on the first cut. The leverage would be too much with any significant height.

I wouldnt worry about being pulled over backwards, cause it would topple to one side the second teh rider cut out. And how much would a tower help, what wake are you jumping? For the cost of a good jetski, you can get a great older DD ski boat, and board behind that!

I think it would be kinda funny to see a wakeboard topple over backwards because of a tower. and we might get a jet ski... but i think it would suck having the rope pulling you down. thats why I go on my friends boat whenever possible

They're good for wakeskating, but forget wakeboarding. They have their place. Great on gas, very easy to tow. Like I said, we've used them quite a bit on the skate. Not really much of a point trying to attach a wake tower on it. Some of the Sea Doo's have a small extended pylon and a rack. (Message edited by greenpinky on February 25, 2007)

I've seen a few on jet skis. Wake designs actually made some of these towers. However, I would hate to see what happened when you take a sharp turn on that thing and it "sticks." You know...the turn that launches you off the ski. Good dental/medical insurance comes to mind.

A hole drilled in the bottom of the jet ski would be a better investment.

and 2000lbs. of ballast, unless of course you are one of the few jet skiers who doesn't try to jump the same wake that I am pulling a rider on.

I remember a pic of that PWC with a gal in a thong on the back of it. I think it was one of the Boardstock events.
