2013 21'v ride or 2015 axis a22. Pros and cons. I've read a lot about both but not a direct comparison. If anybody has had personal expierence on both that would be cool to here from you.

The 2015 A22 is a wake boat through and through. The VRide, while a GOOD wakeboarding hull, is a little bit older in terms of design. The A22 will wakeboard and wakesurf better than the VRide. You can also get Surfgate on the A22, which you can't do on the VRide. The A22 has an updated interior for 2015, updated hull design to maximize wake performance, wetsounds stereo, solid PCM powerplant.

The list goes on and on for me. A22. All. Day. Long.

Here's the deal my friend is dead set on a v ride but I'm trying to talk him in to the axis. He's worried about resale value but to me it seems axis' are becoming more and more sought after. Plus I know the older axis fit and finish weren't top knotch but haven't been in one of the more previous years. As my local shop doesn't carry them on hand.

Resale on a boat without a wake system?

Look at the T22. I much prefer that to the A series. My friends 2014 T22 was awesome before he sold it. Fit and finish was damn near perfect. Much better interior detail with very few short cuts on upholstery like previous years. No gel coat flaws either. If I were in the market that's what I'd be getting

The new a22 is almost identical to the t22 with the bow being the only difference. Actually the interior on the a22 is probably nicer.

The resale is in the surf gate. Hands down.

This is a no brainer for me. If pricing is similar on the two I would go Axis without blinking. A harder decision would be a 2013 VLX vs 2015 A22.

Surf gate, warranty, new, built how you want and it's the A22 - resale on used A22s with surfgate - if I get a better paying job, I would own one!

had a 2010 23 vride and my neighbor across the lake has an 2013 a22. I liked the v ride better. Drove circles around my friends a22. the wakes need to be slammed In order to shape up right. Count on adding a new prop if you get a 5.7 he uses acme 2315 and runs additional 3k in his axis but it doesn't plane out. I like the fiberglass floor in the axis better than carpet but honestly I like the v ride better. Both are ok boats.

2010 vride needs a lot of weight to generate a surf wake. Who cares how it drives, the wake is the point ;-)
