Can the liners be heat molded? Will a local shop have to take care of this or is this something I can do myself?

Yes, you will need to take to your local Ronix Dealer

You can do it yourself, blow dryers work just fine but you'll have to do it alittle bit longer. It might not be as "molded" as most, but with the liners the way they are, they will eventually mold to your foot through time anyhow. I have also heard that if you take the liner out and drop it in extremely hot water, it can do the same effect. The problem with the DIY version is you won't have the toe-cap to create extra room around the toe area, and you'll also want to get some panty-hose or very thin socks, otherwise the heat will be really hot on your skin...

Does anybody ride the Scout? I have been looking at the low prices online and I like the look. There aren't any Ronix dealers in my area, but I have tossed around the idea of picking up a pair for one of my boards.

I used to ride them. Very comfortable and very flexy when they're broken in. Great binding if you like to poke your grabs and such. they're not low cut so they still offer support.

i have a pair that i use as an extra set of bindings. they offer a fair bit of support, but are really flexy. i'd say they're pretty comfortable, but flexy.

If you heat mold your Scouts will it help with the heal lift?
