I am am looking at possibly buying a trailer hand dolley. I back my boat up into the garage but have to put it in a bit of an angle and go up close to the wall. I know that I am going to do some damage at some point if I keep trying to do it all with my truck. I currently push it in by hand but its pretty stressfull on the front wheel and doesn't always let the trailer roll the direction I want without constantly re-positioning it. I was looking into hand dolleys and get feedback if they work well for that. I have a Sanger V215 so it on the lighter end for wakeboats. Just trying to see if this will help and work on turning even with the tandem axle trailer.
I bought a powered one and it didn't work. I tried it several ways, there just wasn't enough weight on the tongue for the wheel to get traction. Note: I was trying to use it on a tandem trailer.
I have one and struggle to get my Waverunner positioned with it. I wouldn't even try with my Supra. You have to consider the tongue weight and overall weight. Are your brakes disengaged? Very key issue.
