wetsuit repair??

For those of us that have to wear them, looking for advice on repairing a Xcel 4/3 that my dog got to. Any advice on what works best? Love the wetsuit and would rather not have to replace it.

Aquaseal and trident adhesive will work. Since the tears go through to the inside you want to be careful and not get too much of either adhesive on the suit, just basically use it to stitch the tears together. Aquaseal is kind of stiff and will tear up your skin if you just goop it over all the tears. If gooping is necessary, best to do it on the outside.

I've had a similar situation. I used superglue to close the hole and then used a rubber cement and a 1mm neoprene patch to support the backing and so it would be nice on the skin. It got me through two more seasons without issue.

That was years ago. I'd just try to YouTube it today. That is pretty much how I learn to do most everything now.
