Hi there everybody my name is Josh I am 36 years old and live in Minnesota I'm looking at buying a 2015 supreme S226 I was wondering if I could get any feedback I have never surfed before but I have wake boarded in my Younger years I'm only ready to spend about $65,000 on a boat and I have no idea which brand is the one for me I have never owned a boat before and I just wanted your guises Input on the supreme and if it would be a good fit for me we will be wake boarding as much as wake surfing please let me know thank you

They are good boats, if you are set on buying newer. But IMO...you could get better in a slightly used boat in that price range. BTW...I don't think you did the whole "poll" option correctly!

Only reason I was thinking supreme is because of the big hull and I heard they're great in rough waters my other choice was a moomba or a tige

I already put $1000 down on the S2 to six but I'm having second thoughts I'd be willing to lose $1000 if I was making the wrong choice with a supreme $65,000 is a lot of money to me

couple guys on here running them and they seem happy. surfs well IIRC

It's important to get demos of all of them. All the boats you mentioned are great options, I'd wager you'd be happy with any of them as long as the dealer you buy it from gives you great service. Dealer support is really what you should think about at this point being you narrowed it down to 3 brands as it can make or break a new boat experience.

Worth is a relative term.. are they worth the money/cost? None are probably really worth the high cost.

Is the Supreme worth the money relative to the big 3.. Probably so.. although I have no direct knowledge of the Supreme. I would have considered it had they been sold locally.

We went MB for the best boat in the price range that was sold near by.

2015 S226 owner here and Wakeboard wake can be finicky but the Surf wake is outstanding. We do wakeboard but really have to work to clean up the starboard side. Yes they are a quality made vessel and outstanding in rough water with the deep v.
I also shopped Moomba and Tige but came down to surf wake for me, huge freeboard, deep v hull, and therefore Supreme won out.
I used to own a Moomba outback when I was big into slalom.
Depending on what you do probably can't go wrong with any of them. Demo is best bet.

On my second supreme in two years. I am more than happy with them. Our last one was a 14 226 put 300 hours on it without one problem. Only reason we sold is supreme came with a bigger boat. Can't say enough good things about the brand.

The Moomba Craz surfs and wakeboards well. Great hull and solid boat. I would def demo both in that price range and decide what's best for u!

Just FYI in some states (WA for sure) it's actually illegal for a dealer to keep your deposit if you change your mind. Not saying you should. I looked at Supreme boats and the ones I looked at were sweet. I ended up with an axis just because of cost.

Does anybody have any pictures or videos of a wakeboard wake or a surf wake behind a S226

If you are going to wakeboard half the time, a finicky wash wake will get old real fast.

the moomba mojo is one of the best bang for your bucks, good wakeboard boat, good surf wave, good layout, its good but not great, but who needs great for all things. my neighbor has a mojo, i have a fs44, my other neighbor has a g23, and a MXZ, ( i have not seen a new supreme interior yet), but the only gripe we all have with the mojo is material quality. IF you plan to use it, your going to have to really keep up withe the interior, watch for tears in the vinyl. its fragile in comparison to the upper end boats. With that said, if you are leaning towards boarding, the Moomba, surf, no questions the supreme. But both would work well, if you can stomach 65k on a 3 year old boat, dump the supreme and move into a higher end boat, MC, BU, TIge, CC, CENTURION, just about any of the tier 1 products and you will get better materials, fit and finish, and a solid boat. good luck

You can spend 65 and get s brand new axis with all the features you like. My t22 surfs and wakeboards great. Not to mention a 5 year warranty

Should add for 65k you should be able to get a new 16 226. Correct craft did not offer any incentives for 16 but did keep the prices down. For not much more $$$ you should be able to get a new 238

Shoot me a PM. I also live in MN and looked at the Supreme's extensively and other boats in your price point.

I would personally get an axis in that price range.

If you're planning to wakeboard, then I would pass on supreme.

I am getting ready to list my 2012 Malibu VLX, you could have it shipped to Minnesota and be in it less than $65k!

I also agree that I'd look hard at an Axis A22 or T22 for that money.

I'd pick the best match boat with the dealer you prefer.

This is my opinion, you can make just about any boat product a good wakeboard wake, a killer surf wave can be a pain to set up or make convenient to set up. I have had BU's and centurions. My dealer has become like family after 5 boats in 8 years. My neighbor "the wakeboarder in the group" can pull all kinds of tricks. flips etc etc and can do it all behind all of our boats in the neighborhood, g23, mxz fs 44, a mojo, oh and a 1999 x star, so i cannot see a major factor unless you plan on becoming the "pro" of your lake. buy the one you like the best, looks are somewhat important being you have to like what you buy, Figure out what is important, rough water abilities, looks, surf wave, boarding wake, etc etc and get one. Just buy a common brand so you don't sit on some obscure boat because of a deal. strange brands or location specific to sale are trouble. Example, sanger does not exist in the south east. so moving one would be a nightmare.

+1 for Axis. The A22's wakeboard and surf wakes are legit, easy to setup, and not finicky at all. Plus the 5 year warranty

food for thought ..I personally havent owned a Supreme but MY friend has one albeit is going on 6-7 years old now the interior on his is garbage super thin material . Also the ballast pumps and a lot of the switches have failed . This is not to mention the dealer delivered it with no tranny fluid in it(dealer issue ) . I have been turned off from Supreme since he bought it . I dont wakeboard much so I cant comment on the wake as I'm usually driving the kids around and enjoying the day .

Id go Axis myself but you buy what you like its your investment and you dont want to regret it .

Keep in mind 6-7 years ago was before Fineline owned Supreme and many changes have ensued and now owned by CC.
Not doubting any issues your buddy might have had but the Supreme coming off the assembly line today are heads/tails better.
Also can't blame boat on an inept dealer forgetting fluid. Any boat would have issues if that happened.

Everybody has their own tastes/desires and you may like Axis. I personally think they are fugly. Crawled around them again at the boat show and for me they are just sub-par fit/finish compared to pricepoint line of Moomba and Supreme. I would venture that their wakeboard wake is superior to either of those 2 but since that is lowest desire on MY priority list Axis would be my last choice.

Doesn't matter tho since we are not searching for a new boat - OP is! and getting an earfull at that

time41, not much wake boarding anymore. 6 knee surg over the last 10 years, just wake to wake goofing off. Cant have anymore damage and don't want fake knees at 41. so no i don't board much. my buddy's still kill it and themselves.lol going big isn't a priority and like is said, if you want the title of lake PRO then you need to decide whats important. Boats today all perform extremely well, but very few of the people can exploit it. So if you can exploit it, and thats your goal, get the most board specific boat you can afford. prob the g23. x star, BU lsv and many others make killer wakeboard wakes.
