While out tonight surfing, we were getting ready to take off for another session and the boat started accelerating and then stopped. My buddy cut the throttle and some bark came to the surface? We were in 35 feet of water. Didn't expect to hit anything. So I swam under the boat and didn't feel anything that was not normal. We tried to take off and there was an instant vibration, so I drained the ballast and took off again. There was a small vibration at around 3000-4500 rpm's only under acceleration. Running 26-29 mph boat ran smooth.

It only takes a small ding. Take the prop off and have it fixed.

I can tell you is doesn't take much bend or ding to feel it. I can also tell you it takes very little to bend one of these NIBRAL props. You can practically look at one and bend it with your mind!!

You might wanna consider a new prop and having that one fixed for a back up .

buy a prop puller and get a backup, its easy to remove with a puller. we have all been there and its not worth damaging your drive train, just replace and get the old one fixed as your backup sucks

Nettle props in Austin TX...they do a great job fixing a prop for reasonable price. I sent them one that was dinged up pretty bad, came back looking like brand new!

Nettles has the best customer service ever. I buy all my props from him. However I use a local for repairs.
