How to weight this boat

My family is looking at a Tahoe for a pretty good price. We're going to have to get a tower for it but its a 2008 tahoe Q4ss. I know the wake isnt going to be much without ballast so im looking to get some fat sacs.. Which ones should i look into getting and where would i place them

every boat is different, there will be some playing around with weight and distribution of it for sure.
but to start out with you might try about 60% weight in back and 40% weight in front (of whatever amount of weight you get)

Hey man! I agree with what Jeremy said. Every boat is different, and there's really no way to know what the perfect way to weigh it until you get out there and take a peek. A method that I've used when weighing down friends I/O boats that's been pretty successful has been to use 2 longer sacks in a "T" shaped setup. Get one bag as close to the rear of the boat as you can go and have it going the long way from starboard to port. Then position the other one butted up against the first sac pointing from bow to stern. The rest is just tweaking. Maybe you scoot the bow/stern bag up a foot or two. There's no "perfect way" to do it. But, this has been a base setup I've used, and it's worked out pretty well. Get two 750's and get after it! Good luck!
