tige, supreme, mb surf advice

I used to own a sanger v215. I had to sell it years ago and only wakeboard. Now that I'm mid 30s surfing seems like what i will want to do. I'm moving to a lake house and haven't surfed before. From all my research I've came to this conclusion.

I want high free board
Needs a great surf wake without me needing to modify much or put bags on seats
Would like something with a good resale value
I do not want to spend more than 65k

I know a centurion fits my criteria but even used is out of my price range. There are numerous 2011 to 2013 tige z1 ..rz2 ..z3 all in my price range. But only the z1 has the vx attached. With the rz2 and z3 $5k more without the vx. What's better a bigger boat or the z1 with vx?

Or do I buy a new 2015 supreme s226 loaded. I really am having a hArd time deciding because I like the entire look of the tiges and high free board. But I can get a supreme brand new for $65k the tigers range from 55k to 65k. Just looking for some opinions.

Mb in pictures seem to sit to low loaded for my tastes with kids in boat. But maybe the pics are not justified. If possible I'd like to see pics of all the boats loaded and listed.

A 2011-15 MB 23 can be had in the 40s. The ARE NOT "low loaded." We boat on a very big lake that can get lots of chop. Never once in the 300 hours we had the boat took a single drop of water over teh bow. Wave is great on both sides with hidden weight.

Vs. tige, the MB is MUCH higher in the nose. Tiges have cut down/down sloping noses. The feel on the water is unmistakeable. One feels like it'll never ever take a roller, the other feels like you'd better be paying a lot of attention... especially the pickle fork tiges.

All that said, my MB took quite a while to sell and I only really had one truly interested party come look at it (they bought). Strangely enough, they were also from overseas... so the boat left the country.

2 MB 23' B52's sold in the last week, both were 2013's, one was really a 2012 (late) with the old tower (some prefer) they sold for 52 and 56, one sold in a couple weeks, one took forever but they both held value IMO

There is a nice slightly used Supreme on only inboards. They all have a pretty tall freeboard so that won't be noticeably different. I would have a hard time picking a boat at this point if I were to sell my MB F21... Very mixed emotions since I fork over for a G...

The pictures I saw before of the mb must of been very heavily weighted. I'll start looking at mb again. Used here seem to be in the mid 60s for price.

So I guess outta tige rzr..rz2..z1.. mb b52 .. f21 .. or a supreme s226. What's the best boat for easy ballast with a great wave. And does the tige vx matter enough to justify spending 10k extra on used boats in my area

Our local dealer has a new 2014 MB F22 priced at 56K if you like purple flake and a new 2014 F24 priced at 70K.

Surfing is for seniors. If you want low impact high skilled riding you should start skating. #losethebindings

I would say 226 and b52. If wakeboarding wake is big deal b52 probably. I like both of those boats a lot!

If you ride goofy, or have goofy riders in your crew the VX on the Tige is almost a must have!

RZ2 does not need the Vx.

Wow mid 30's and ready to throw in the towel? Seems strange to me. Anyway I'd make sure whatever boat u get it still throws a great wakeboard wake. Because after about 15mins of surfing I think u will be ready to actually do something fun again!

So no vx if an rz2? That's great news. We do have one goofy rider.

On the bigger tige boats without vx, I think the goofy wave should be pretty good. My 2004 24v has a better goofy wave than the regular ( both good but goofy is easier to make imho). The early rz2 's made a great goofy wave, can't imagine the new ones sans vx would be any different. I think the rzr and r20s were the only ones than needed a mud flap or vx to clean up goofy.

Still looking found a 2013 z1 with vx for 60k , 2012 rz2 no vx 65k and a 2013 z3 no vx 65k . What's a better deal there? All less than 150hrs. All loaded.

Also a 2013 malibu vlx loaded with surf gate and a 2013 centurion sv230 loaded surf both 66k
