1998 Mc 225 VRS price and thoughts?

A friend of a friend is selling this 1998 225,

795 hours and it's been winterized for 2 years.

Anything I should be worried about?

I threw a offer of $15,000 at him if everything checks out.

I'm also looking at 96 prostar 205 515 hours.

Any help would be great!

Thats a great deal on that boat if everything checks out. Just sold mine for $15.5K with a suspect engine(low compression in 1 cylinder) and I disclosed the problem.

Thats is the first year of the X-30 hull. Great wakeboard wake and decent ski wake also. They also surf well with some weight. Tons more room than a 205.

Dang well now he says the boat is off the market.
