USC Wakeboard Team So Cal Contest

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I am proud to announce that the USC Wakeboarding Team is going to be hosting a local grassroots tournament at the Lake Elsinore Channel on Nov. 6 2005. Since the weather is holding up, were hoping to sneak in one more great event before winter shuts us down.

The event is going to be one of a kind.

We plan on having a head to head format with each rider getting 3-4 minute sessions with unlimited falls. We hope this brings out the best in all riders. The vibe will be more of an expression session. Also, this will allow riders to get more then one pull!!

There will be a collegiate division, which will act as a "National Qualifier" for nationals. There will also be various other divisions for all riding levels.

There will also be a couple of local pros out that day putting on a killer demo during lunch. I dont want to name names just yet, but lets just say - they go BIG!!!

Sponsors include: Mastercraft, Skylon, CWB, Fly High, Watersports Warehouse, and California Skier.

where was USC last weekend eh?

USC couldnt make it last week bro.. we definetely wanted to be there though. I was there as a JUDGE for the event, so our presence was felt though.

we'll be there for elsinore, what's the deal with everything though? camping? one day? two days? entrance fees? is it a team based tournament? are you gonna bail out and go buy a house last minute? (just kidding, how did that go by the way?)

The tourney format is going to be one of a kind...

We plan on having a head to head format, which should let riders ride more then once.

We will be having a bon fire and bbq campout the night before on the channel, which should be a pretty killer party if we get a good turnout.

All riders fees will be $40 which will include the bonfire party if they so choose to attend the festivities, and lunch the day of the tournament.

We have been cleared to camp out on the channel the night before, so bring someone to cuddle up with, or at least for you Jeremy, you and Sean can slip into a sleeping bag!

There will be points awarded to riders for advancing to the further rounds, and as such, there will be a team with the most points at the end of the day. This will be secondary to the overall winners though, as there will likely be a good amount of non collegiate riders.

Yeah we probably will come down en masse. Thats just how we roll. Yeah the camper will probably make the journey and yes it is probably the coolest thing in the world. Red neck? Not at all, that thing is brand new and awesome. CCAW!!! Get teh Sac State people out they were fun.

Everyone that was on the longbeach tournament email list will be invited to this tourney..if you personally know any of those peeps.. give them a hollar and get them in the mix.. the more the marrier right?
