So a friend of mine is selling his 2004 Ram 3500 with only 28,000 miles on it. He let me use it for the week to see if it will work for our family as a replacement for our Yukon Denali. Let me tell you, this thing is awesome! I love the 6-speed manual and diesel engine. Towed the boat to the lake on Saturday and, for the first time, I really know what it means to not feel it in tow. I had to keep reminding myself it was back there.

Unfortunately, it just isn't going to fill the need for a family hauler around town. But is was an exciting week and I had fun with it. Sorry, no photos with the boat.

A friend of mine might be interested in the truck if he still wants to sell it. Let me know. We are also in Knoxville.

Talk about low miles! How much was he selling it for? why does he have to sell?
A lot of websites that sell trucks don't even put mileage down, they just say low miles, then you find out it has 149,000 miles yah right

We are looking at trading in our 2006 Duramax with 168,000 miles and the dealer said thats about average for a 7 year old truck, bought September 2005. I thought I was going to get hit for high milage.

It looks better than some trucks with half the milage.

actually I just bought a 2004 Dodge 3500 Quad Cab Short bed 4x4.... Best thing I ever did. You will love that truck. Plus you will get about 20mpg on the highway unloaded and 13-15mpg towing instead of single digits

Yeah, that 14"x14" was his answer to the little plastic props you can buy for your receiver hitch.
