Well its time for me to pick a board again this year.. Last year I rode a 06 parks 144 with shanes closed toe bindings. And let me tell you, that thing was a tank!!!!! So freaking heavy I could barley stand it..

So I want your ideas on what board to get thats LIGHTER than my old lead weight. Heres the ones im look
ing at:

Liquid Force: Watson 142
CWB: Marious, Platnum, OR Transond.
Ronix: ONE or Parks new board.

I want a light yet very responsive board. Im a intermediate rider that weighs 250lbs and 6' tall.. P

Please help.. I need it..}

the one is a really light board, have considered that the board was just too big for you? different people's styles can make the suggested weight "range" for a board change.

Jeez, and I thought that I was a fairly shameless Liquid Force whore... =P (Directed at Andy) Only difference is I'm not sponsored by the board company I'm recommending all of the time...

I love my Watson 142, at least from what I've ridden of it. No jumps yet, and only surface jump (behind a jetski), but it rode a lot like my substance except it broke loose easier. Oddly enough, everyone that holds it says that it's pretty light, but it actually weighs more than my 04 Substance.

Of the ones you named though, I'd pick 08 Watson 142 with Watson bindings.

What about the CWB's, no one has said anything about them.. Are the rockers just too much? or do they weigh too much.

I know the Marius Platinum apparently weighs nothing, or so my friend tells me...

.....I have ridden the 2003 cwb absolute platinum and now ride the marius 2006......and compared to my friends 2006 substance these boards are heavy! (even the old platinum)

....so I am thinking the watson

Like I said, my old substance is pretty light, and here I was thinking it was a heavy board because of it's age. Substances are fairly light...

I loved the Ibex, but it will be hard to be the shane boots... they were great, if you get a chance demo a slingshot... if it works with your style of riding it cannot be beat

I love my watson 142 with watson CT bindings. It is a light and smooth board.
