In the video wetsounds had up from SEMA, I heard them say SD2500 amp powering the 15 XXX's. Anyone have any information on this amp? Release date or specs. Wondering if it will do 2500 at 2 ohm since that would be the configuration for 2 XXX subs.

The way I understood them talk each XXX-15 had it's own SD2500 amp, but I may have misheard the walk-through. Also sounded like they had an SD6 running 3 Rev10s... so 585 watts per pod basically. I'm sure the gains were turned down some, but I bet that boat screams!

Very interested in that amp. Hopefully it has a subsonic filter too. Their answer for XXX power now is the SD2 which does not have a subsonic

Cal,

The new Syn-DX2.3HP has subsonic.

Ooo cool. Is there a benefit of going with the sd2 over the dx2,3hp? Rated at same power. SD2 supposed to be better quality

In the case of using for a woofer amp, i dont know of one. the SD series was released as a top of the line, high output marine amp. Awesome power and very robust amps. The new Syn-DX series shares a good bit of what the SD series is build on. The new Syn-DX2.3HP is in not a hopped up Syn-DX2. The DX2.3HP is about the size of the 6 chnl DX6 so its like 2x the size and weight of the DX2.
