Can someone direct me or tell me where to get some LED lights for the inside of my boat? Looking at doing the cup holders etc.. saw this on another thread and it looks amazing.

What parts do i need since this is a DC setup obviously. I can find the strips, but would need a power converter.

How expensive is this to do?

Is your boat something other than DC? LEDs are DC by nature.

Search for 12v LED's. they're everywhere on ebay and amazon and elsewhere. Strips an be useful. I've used LED angel eyes with speakers. I've put some in tubing to diffuse it. I've had custom plexiglass rings made and hot glued LED strips to the inside. I've also just bought the premade LED cupholders which are so amazing and affordable that there's no reason to build your own rings.

I think that you're missing the fact that the LED's will run off of the 12V DC already in your boat. Don't need a converter. That'd be if you were trying to run them in your house.

If you run RGB LED's you'll need a controller.

XK Glow is the easiest option, but you pay for it.;
