About to order some 303 Protectant so I can do my vinyl before storage this fall. How much is typically required? there's half litre and 32 ox. spray bottles. I have a 21' Sanger so an approximate would be great.

Buy gallons of it. You'll use it for years to come. A light mist on every piece of vinyl you have and wipe it down. I even use it in my car & truck.

AGREED !! I buy it by the gallon from amazon . I use it every time we clean the boat all summer long too . Its not super greasy like some vinyl protectants

Gallons??? Takes me 2 years to use a regular spray bottle and I use it after every trip to the lake. Too much protectant will make it slick when wet. To each their own, I just don't need another gallon jug to store for years

ordered one .95L spray bottle. have the TA cleaner already but havent used it as I wanted the right protectant in hand first. I'll ask here, but may have to start another boring thread, how is everyone waxing their boat where the trailer wheels/bunks are? On my VM trailer it means a large swath of unwaxed gelcoat. Preferred waxes would be good information too.

Thanks

303 is great stuff, but you may want to try Bass Boat Saver for a wipe down each time on the lake.

The best wax i have found for everything is Collinite. Great stuff, do a search and read the reviews. I wax everything with it and it holds up for over a year.

Don't order too much 303. I made that mistake and it went bad. It had some sort of black mold growing inside of it after 2 years. I was a huge fan of 303 for years but now I feel like there are better choices out there. It is still good stuff though.

303 is a good product but it is water soluble and dosn't last very long when it gets wet. I use Majestic
Poly Protectant it lasts longer , has a nicer sheen and at 19.00 a gallon its a steal.
