Will the weight of the bag crush the pump and/or hose if I set the pump in the back on the floor like this? It will be a 600 sumo sac in 2001 Tige 2100V.

It ultimately depends on how much the sac fills that area. I notched the back panel on my VE.

I prefer to not have the pump wedged between the sac and back wall. i would look to move the battery back a couple inches and then pass the hose through the wall to the pump like Dave's pic.

Yeah I know its not ideal but if/when I put 2 batteries behind the panel, there wont be room for the pump. I'm thinking I might run it diagonally through the back wall then through that small wall separating the batteries from the engine compartment. It would sit just rear of the water separating filter.

You should be able to push the battery back and gain enough room for the pump back there. I would vent and drain to the opposite side as well.

have you checked out www.tigeowners.com?

My batteries are back there too.

duffymahoney, I'm on tigeowners too. I just thought I'd reach more people on here.

I don't think I have enough room to push my batteries back. I'll look into it.

What about turning them sideways? I no this if the STBD side, but the pump can lay right between the batteries of you can turn them.

Since I currently only have one battery, I decided to punch through the back wall. Whenever I get a second battery, I'll just have to figure out where to put it.
