Wetsuit!

i just got a 2008 Oneill Epic 4/3 wetsuit.

does anyone know what temperatures of water i can ride in?

you'll be good in just about anything your uncovered hands and feet can handle.

jr is right. with my oneill pshcho 4/3 and closed toe boots, as long as I can feel my hands enough to grab the handle I can ride...

I wear my Epic 4/3 at the Oregon coast for surfing and Wakeboarding from November to February. Close toed boots and jetski gloves seem to do the trick. A nice hot shower helps a lot as well.

i second A-dub. 38.4 F is the exact temp. that you can ride in while wearing that particular suit.

Thanks guys i have closed toe boots, no gloves thought. but its still 75 everyday at the lake. not sure of the water temp though probably 50-60 or so.

we are not winterizing the boat this year because we are keeping it in a heated garage so I'll try to ride all year.

Ever try a drysuit? IMO they are a lot more comfortable than most wetsuits, and you can add layers of warm clothing under it. Also, there is no intant chill when getting in the water liek a wetsuit.

pour a little warm water in your suit before you hop in. the water takes a minute to fill up the suit in a 4/3. hell if you get up fast enough you might not even get wet.

no by warm water i mean just that a thermos full of warm water.
